560 gas - tachometer and temp guage.

The tach on the 560 quit a few days ago and I can't figure out why. The cable is still attached, although I can't get it out of the distributor. Is there a set screw for that?

Also, I'd like to hook up the temp. guage, but can't for the life of me find any temperature sending unit on the block. Where should I be looking?

Thanks for any help - I'm still new at this.
