Hi all I found the source of my strange noises in my trans. Bad front roller bearing. I pulled it apart I looked up the bearing on the Bowers NTN catalog and according to the part # the od of that bearing is 52mm. I dont think that is possible. it looks like IH may have used this bearing without the outer race. The rollers riding on the inside of the boar of the gear, dose that make sense? Also was there a washer or retainer on the end of the shaft, all I had is a Kind of buggered up bolt.I know get a parts book. but its Sunday and I want to get this thing going for a parade next Saturday. Thanks. Rob
