Replace the Throw out bearing and pilot bearing. The threaded hole in the casting should have a zerk fitting in it. It is not used for greasing the bearing itself, but for greasing the housing as it slides on the input tube. The throw out bearings are pregreased and cannot be greased. You probably hurt it more than helped it by trying to clean it. The old bearing can be heated to press it off. But do NOT heat the new one. It probably has rubber seals in it that heating would destroy. Your bearing supplier might have the equipment to replace the bearing, probably at no charge. Your old bearing shows some wear. The groove in the face should not be there. Replace it!
