yes on crankshaft pully.get #1 cyl. on compression and line up to 2 degree mark on pulley with pointer on timing cover.in stall rotor to #1 firing position on cap.turn key on and when you hear it spark as turning dist in opposite direction of rotation, thats exactly where you tighten it down.make sure your on the compression stroke though, you can tell by placing thumb over hole as cranking, it will be pushing compression out.
