Exactly!! Just because it CAN be done does not mean it SHOULD be done. Lots of things will not be correct, and besides all of that, the swinging drawbar is to be used ONLY when pulling tillage equipment such as a disk harrow. All other equipment is to be hooked directly the horseshoe, except for PTO powered machines, and then you need the triangle shaped hitch plate bolted to the horseshoe. The triangle plate provides for the correct distance so the pto shaft will not bind up when making turns.
