Haave rebuilt the starter, new plugs, new condenser and points, PB'lasted everything, wire-brushed everything, rebuilt the carb, steamed out and red-koted the gas tank, etc. The starter REALLY spins the motor, like never before. But no fire. I put all the wiring back correctly as far as I could, I had it all labeled, but i think I missed something. The main symptom is the ammeter needle does not move; not when I pull out the start button, and not when I spin the starter. My memory is that the ammeter needle used to slightly move left when I pulled out the start button, and it jumped when I cranked. Now nothing, needle sits there. Fuse is OK. Any thoughts? Thanks guys.
