Wow. I would think that breaking the front casting on a Cub by simply pushing snow would be pretty rare, since the load is actually carried by the rear half of the tractor. What was the conclusions of your vectors analysis for collisions involving your 504 that can't be stopped by any snow drift in New England? Cubs do just fine pushing snow if they have wheel weights and chains. They can also get in places that a larger tractor can't. Have fun with it and don't worry about the front casting!
