At least I think so. My H sounds like a new tractor. Runs smoother than before the gasket went. I had an occasional put-putter in the exhaust shortly befor I cut my last crop of hay. Didn't effect the performance in the least, just didn't sound right.
Should I recheck the head torque tomorrow & then warm up the engine & check tappet clearence? Is tappet clearence taken from an engine that has been warmed to operating temerature or just warm? Anything else I'm forgetting?
