My 966 w/M&W turbo did the same thing at about 10,000 hours. I put the other style breather on it. Was off a 466 truck engine. That was over 2,000 hours ago. Still haven't been inside the engine. The truck style breather mounts same as the original, but the tube comes out the top of the breather and any blowby flows back into the motor instead of out. Also, you could put the breather on from an 86 series 414, 436 or 466 tractor motor. It attaches on top of the valve cover and keeps the blowby inside. Either way the vapors and pressure leave the motor and keep the oil inside. You will need to put that tractor to some serious work to seat the rings. Wayne
