Farmall Survey

Have been thinking about this for some time. When did farmall stop being a type of tractor and become just a trade name, when they added styled sheetmetal? TA? went with 6 cylinders? My vote is when the tractor no longer worked well with a narrow front end, ie the tires were to small for the load on them, a farmall is a narrow front tractor so that a mounted cultivator or corn picker can be used. Thanks to the combine and herbicides it's mission has mostly been left behind just like those giant sod busting tractors of 100 years ago.
