Here are all teh starter button locations and their mechanisms for starting: 1. placed in the middle of the rear tank support. The button is actuated by a metal rod thru the rear steering support. Step on the rod to start the tractor. 2. placed in the rear tank support slightly to the right of center. This allowed the starter to step on the button with your toes. 3. Placed in the center of the rear tank support, and actuated by a lever that mounts to the rear steering support. 4. Button placed on the upper portion of the rear steering support in a cast iron housing 5. Some may have had the Super H type starter which is actuated by pulling a rod (like C and Super C) As far as the timing of these buttons, I havent looked in the parts book yet.. I know the first two are correct and the last is correct (as far as order is concerned) the third and fourth placements may be backward, or possibly the cast housing mounted to the rear steering support was used when adding a starter, or an upgrade from #2..
