To add to what I posted earlier.... since he obviously doesn't want to sell to you any more, I doubt his service to you will ever get any better. If he figures out you are "proxy buying", he is for certain going to send you junk in the future. Anyone living within easy driving distance of you will be suspected as your proxy buyer and it wouldn't be worth it to pay for two shipping costs to have someone farther away buy for you.
Just let him go... he's only going to get you more frustrated and life is too short.
