I doubt if Marty knows that MA and NH share a border. I live three miles below the border and have tractor friends above the border. There are also eBay facilitators who buy and sell for those who can't be bothered or are computer illiterate. I doubt if Marty has even read this thread even though I tipped him off to it. I'll bet his eBay account rep has though.
On the whole, proxy buying is very inconvenient and or costly. I would only use it if Marty lands some kind of rarity.
But the last shoe hasn't dropped yet. I may test bid (on all three eBay accounts) some of his 560 parts that close tonight. Saturday will be the first day I can leave neutral or negative feedback. I will probably go negative and use my 80 characters to praise eBay management.
I think there is a good chance that the banning will be lifted. And if it is, he won't dare to send me any junk. This entire experience has been very humiliating for him and he won't be looking for an encore.
