I have exactly the same problem. The part that is worn most is not the shaft but the bearing hole it turns in. I'm going to try to swop the two bearing brackets. The one for the left brake pedal is worn less since the shaft of this left pedal is supported by TWO bearings, whereas the right one has only one. The left and right bearing brackets are identical. Hope this helps, but haven't accomplished it yet. Hendrik
