Just spent the last 2 days getting ready to do an in the frame overhaul. Everything seems to be in really good shape. Someone had been in it before. It is going to need push rods for sure as 4 of them are bent. The exhaust of #1 was bent enough that it was rubbing a hole in the side of it. I do not see them listed in any of the parts places for sale, so I need to know where to get them. I did not know if you can tell from the picture if the head had ever been machine or if there some way to measure it. The machine marks look to be the ones from the factory. I would like to take about .050 or .060 off of it. The old sleeves and the pistons are the orginals. I will put the bigger sleeves with the domed pistons back in. I need to know the part number on the pushrods as the book lists a couple of different part numbers. The block has number 354893 R2 on it. The head has 251172 R. The intake valve has 57797-D TP and the exhaust valve has 57798-P with SIL-TXCR below it. Also, both the bleeder holes in the manifold are filled shut. I can not decide to unclog them or leave them. Any help on the pushrods would be appeciated.

I’d probably plowed about 3000 acres (in my head anyway) by the time they found me. This is where my love for tractors started and has only gotten worse in my tender 50 yrs on this “green planet”. I’m par
