Been stripping H parts the last couple weekends for priming and painting. Staring at the casting dates while working and getting curious. 11.12.J means that part was manufactured Nov 12th?
The tractor is a 1941, I found a table of casting code dates, it looks like J stands for 1940. The tractor serial number looks like a mid to late 1941, is it very likely cast iron parts where made in 1940 and assesmbled in 1941 or more likly borrowed parts from donor tractors?
