SFLEM849; I'm not sure they put right valves in, but the rebuild shop man had a H and was famillure with these tractors. I did tell him it was for a 39 M and I left the valves and springs in the head so they would have the origional ones to work with. Going to use the washers as shims. This seems the only way to fix it. Thanks all. Buck
