I just love cleaning up old castings on these tractors!! Always amazes me at the tooling that was used to make the moldings and the quality of work that came of it.
First off can anyone give me some tips on what to do so I can have the best seal possible when I'm done. The gaskets I have that will separate the two halves of the seal housings and will of course keep both halves of the felt from touching. Is this correct or should I cut away some of the gasket so the two felt seals are "crushed" against each other?
