Where is the correct location ,before the turbo or after the turbo?The 706(310) has the probe before the turbo.It also has manifold boost pressure gauge.During normal farming operations,it runs between 1000 and 1100 degrees and between 10 15 lbs boost.sometimes on the 'tough spots',the temp will go over 1300 and 20 lbs boost.I shift down(TA)when this happens.Is this too hot?Its been that way for 20+ years.If the temp probe was after the turbo,would the temp read lower?Does the probe placement reall matter?
