Yes Haas with both bolsters bolted to the frame rails a MD bolster moves everything about 1.5 inches forward compared to a gas. Thats why a MD has a longer hood. Starting with the SMTA tractor the same bolster was used on both gas and diesel. Thats why the longer hood on the SMTA gas also. Just a guess that poster may have a gas bolster because it wouldn't slide back enough in frame rails to match bolt holes without contacting engine.
