Scenario-I was mowing grass with a Farmall H, 1950, pulling a Woods RM-59 finish mower....all was good for a couple of hours, then without warning, it was as if someone pushed the kill switch, and everything ground to a halt. Since then, I checked for faulty wiring, checked the gas and the strainer, checked for fire at the coil, had none. There was power to the coil, but no spark coming from it. So, to save the hassle(which it has now become) I bought a new 6V coil and a set of points and condenser. I set the points gap at .020, installed everything, and now the tractor runs rough and stalls under a load. Please give me a few pointers.
