The tank remains on the tractor. No intention to remove it at this time. Water flood washes are good if the tank can be turned up side down. I've done it on a M tank.
Not a big fan of muriatic acid. It is the quickest way, apart from sandblasting, to remove zinc. Plus, when you are done, what do you do with the waste? Throw it over the fence onto your neighbors lawn or flush it down the toilet after treating it with baking soda?
