be sure the fuel vent in the cap is clear. The heating could be lean operation (not good) Fuel flow must be good and like a soda straw for 5 minutes. If the tractor is truing to sieze, it could be from excessive timing, or low octane fuel. Best guess is that 89 R=M fuel is minimal. Try mixing 5 gallons of premium in the tank if the timing is correct, vent is open and the screen at the carb is clean, and flow as above is good. Jim
