Red! In response to an earlier advice, there is nothing inside the tube, but two raised small humps. One is solid with no cavities, the other is the grease canal.I think I'll have to give up on it and take it over to the Case/IHC dealership and enquire from their shop mechanics how to get the pulleys off the back end of the hub. I have noticed that on the backside of the fixed flange, where I mentioned the drilled balance holes, there are two dog-ears, or tabs, that are positioned directly opposite each other on circumference and extend down in behind the generator pulley? I assume they act as locks in a slot of some kind? Tom A.
