I would like to stress that his health is the my highest priority.
Talked with the doctors at length about this - they say his lung is healed and is back to normal. The only thing he has to be careful about is lifting heavy objects because of the incision.
I wasn't going to let him do anything strenuous, but again - doctors assured me he'd be perfectly fine doing what he did. In fact they kept stressing that the best thing he can do is get right up and do what he normally does.
Which even included singing in the school chorus. He was selected to be in the big regional "districts" for chorus, and they had their concert that night.
I was afraid he might blow a gasket, so to speak, by singing - but again, doctors insisted there was no reason for concern, his lung is totally back to normal.
One positive thing I have to say about living in Massachusetts (there aren't many!), we really do have a lot of good doctors here. Some of the best in the world.
