Thank you all for your responses. I am intrigued by the stuck control valve. Where might this be located? Is it in the unit under the seat or the unit under the gas tank or some where else completely different.
After I wrote the original post I did find the correct place to add the hy tran oil, I have since drained all the oil and now I need to replace it. My question is, the oil I need to add is called Case IH Hy-tran oil. Is there an alternative to this? or is this type of oil readily available?
