I don't know what my problem is. Probably over looked the empty hole 20 times. Maybe even cleaned it out once. Didn't notice that the little metering jet is snapped off until I ran across a spare carb bowl & seen something different. Pulled the other carb apart & yep, rotten jet's busted off flush at the bottom of the hole. Could that little missing dingus be the reason I have to use half choke to keep it running? Would explain why I can't seem to get the idle down to where I want it. Now, to extract the remains of the old one. If all else fails, can I use the bowl from a kerosene carb on a throttle body from a gasser? I'm afraid I don't have a spare gas carb anymore, just kerosene. Before I forget, the carb's on an H.
