I'm not familiar with a 424. Does it have an auxiliary valve connected to two couplers on the rear for attaching hoses to operate a remote hydraulic cylinder? Does the loader have a valve bank with two levers, one for lift of loader and the other for tilt/dumping bucket? If so , remove the pto pump and all the hoses connecting to the valve bank on the loader, the reservoir and the pump. Get whatever hoses ( diameter and length ) bushings, adapters, etc. and the male coupler tips that fit your couplers on the rear of the tractor. Attach one hose to the inlet port of the valve bank ( this will be the replacement hose for the pressure supply line that ran from the pto pump to the valve bank), the other to the outlet (return) port of the valve bank ( this will be replacement for hose that ran from valve bank to the reservoir and then from reservoir to the pto pump). Connect these new hoses to your rear couplers . Use twine or wire or rubber strap to keep the aux. valve operation lever in open flow position. This will allow oil to be continuously flowing through the valve bank on the loader. Move valve bank levers to operate loader cylinders. You will have to, through trial and error, determine which coupler and hose goes to the inlet on valve bank in order to get proper operation of oil flow to the loader. Pull back goes up , push forward goes down. You may find that if you are using three point hitch mounted equipment , that it may be necessary to move ( untie it) the tractor aux. valve lever to neutral position to get the hitch to lift a load.

I have operators manual for IH 2001 loader that has some info for using on a 424. Perhaps you could get some info from it that may be helpful. E-mail me if you have questions. .
