The seals are nothing special, you can get them anywhere - unfortunately I can't tell you the size or a reference number off the top of my head.
I will tell you that the old seals are probably double thickness leather type seals - new ones will be much thinner (same diameter of course).
I suppose you COULD remove and replace the seal without taking the tube off - and I understand why you're hesitant to remove the tube - but it would be a LOT easier with the tube off.
They do just pull out and new ones push right in - but they are tough to pull out - and might be a little tough to start and drive in straight from such a distance.
You could just try it - buy two seals in case you mangle the first.
But I'd say bite the bullet and just pull the tube and all that goes with it. It's not THAT bad.
