Hi all,
This is my first post and I'm a tractor novice, so go easy on me! I'm using a Farmall A with cultivators on an exhaust lift system for cultivating vegetables. The cultivators have been raising very slowly, if at all, and if they do raise up they sink back down after a few seconds. The lift valve (I believe) was leaking a odorless brown fluid out of a hole where a grease zerk must have popped out, so I replaced it, but that didn't fix the problem. It looked as if only a couple of tablespoons of the brown fluid (hydraulic fluid?) had leaked out.
Any ideas on what the problem is and/or if there's a somewhat manageable fix? Even if I could get some ideas of what's wrong that would help me communicate with the Case dealership.
