hi Jim,thx for the reply. The filter was black in color like the fluid but not any chunks or anything like that in it.The mesh was the same,no brake crud just some general crud, nothing too serious. When running the remotes i dont recall a buzzing i'll have to recheck tho to be certain. If that plate was chewed and the pto couldn't run the pump would it still be able to drive fine and would the 3 pt still work fine? The steering was fine a week ago also. The fluid level is always hard to see but i pull it about 10 times to get a good idea.it looks fine but Should i add more just to make sure. When i changed the fluid i pulled both plugs on the bottom plus i had the flow diverter valve out and filter off.I only got out about seven gallons. Is this normal? Could the other 3 gallons be trapped in lines or the system somewhere or was it low to begin with even tho the stick said it was good? Thx in advance
