From the control lever end: 1" until it bends 90 degrees and the cotter pin hole is 1/4" to the center of the whole. After it makes the bend the rod continues for 39" until it bends again to make the loop handle of the control rod. There is also a 1/4" long piece of rod (im imagining is 3/8") that is welded 4 1/8" down from the bend in the handle loop to the center of the piece of rod.
