Unfortunately the tractor is a long way from here so I can't look for a part number, but it sounds like the 6-spoke conversion wheel you mentioned. The tires are 5.50-16 on a drop center rim with 6 bolts. There is no provision for changing spacing. Incidentally I once heard from an old man who worked in a factory during the war that they sometimes raided the spare parts inventory so they could complete a tractor, so a new tractor coming off the assembly line might have some parts that were several years old. Of course there is no way to verify that this is true, but from what I know of wartime products, the parts book didn't necessarily agree with what was on the machine.
