How about a little more description of those front wheels?
Do they have spokes? If so, how many?
What size tire is hanging on there?
Is the rim in any way adjustable as to position on the wheel? Can it be reversed for greater (or lesser) front tread width?

The early Farmalls have a distinctly different (3-spoke) wheel from the later ones, though I don't know what year that change was made.

My parts info shows a 6-spoke steel wheel setup for the front. (Actually a cast-iron wheel with a steel rim.) It also lists a "Field Change Over Package" to convert to pneumatic tires, but does not show a picture of this package.
