How many acres of ground are you planning on working with the tractor? I can't recall what the horsepower of the 574 is, but the price sound to me about twice what it would bring in my area. If you are only planning on using it to mow the additional acre you mentioned, and you have no use for live pto or live hydraulics you might consider the purchase of one of the older small trators from Ford, case, IH, or any of the others. I know from experience what mistakes people make when buying a first tractor without planning for there needs. My first purchase was a tractor that was too underpowered to do all the work I was doing which was in turn unsafe trying to lift heavy loads and trying to steer with the brakes when the front end got light. I would reccomend you shop around a litttle, and if possible try the tractor you decide on out before finalizing any purchase.
