Good comments, but no, I am not buying it for just an acre. I already have 2 of those older models you're talking about. I need it for fencing, mowing, front end loader work, you name it. I have a VAC Case, and it's just too small and unreliable to depend on. As far as price, that's what I need help on. I know on Friday I drove 100 miles to look at a JD 2020 with a loader for $7,500 and this 574 is cheap compared to the condition of the 2020. You hit the nail on the head, I am trying to decide if I want to plan ahead and buy this size now for future and present use, or buy a smaller one that 5-10 years from now won't be big enough.
