I've had a small oil leak under the tractor for years. Last Feb. put new gaskets on the oil pump assembly (since it was apart) and replaced the oil pan gasket. Still leaks. Now I have to believe it is the rear main seal. I have worked on many engines over the years and never had any issues with this type of repair. However, everything i have done with seals like this were when the motor was upside down on a stand. Can i do this with the motor still in place or is it near impossible? Is it hard to get the bearing and cap back in place?
