Our local NAPA has a replacement bulb asembly for H, SH, etc. (it fits most letter series, but it is NOT the two fuel line type) for less than $20. I'd just change it our if you can't get the packing and/or the needle valve to seal/seat. They usually come out without too much difficulty, just unscrew the whole assembly (if I remember right, it takes a 13/16 open end wrench) from the tank, "goop" up the threads with the proper sealer and screw the new one into the tank. (My $0.02 worth. jal-SD)
