The other day I posted about me resetting the timing on the 400 that I've been having problems with it dieseling and it seemed to be working just fine. Well I didn't run it any between now and today, but when i ran it today, it did it again, only not nearly as bad as it had been. I rechecked the timing, and it is firing at the 25 degree pointer mark just like the manual shows it should be. I did pull out the plugs and there was hardly even a film of soot on them. The plugs have a gap of 023, is this correct? When I adjust the Main Jet screw, it now has an affect on the engine. But the idle screw still has no affect at all. When running the engine does seem to be missing some, but if I pull one plug wire at a time, i can definately hear the difference. Where should I look now? Thanks!
