I am assuming that this is a gasser , So yes the block has to be bored and this solve the problem with getting the corect sleeves . BUT you have to get the 263 to 291 sleeves as the upper contour bore is different on the block verses what came AS a 291 from the factory . Then your going to need a 560-706 crank . Then next myself i would have a pressure plate reworked with a little heavier springs since a 460 has a smaller clutch and you may have an issue with slipage due to the increase in Hp. Next you will need to get a dist. out of a 291 and some carb work or a carb off a 291 .There will be a definite increase in power like in the upper 70's to lower 80's.
