Tractor hydralics ARE going to be slower than a backhoe/loader.Test pressure with a gauge-prettyeasy.Plug in a 5000# gauge in to a rear hydralic coupler,'deadhead' the lever,watch the reading.Vary the engine speed,a bad pump will vary pressure as engine speed changes.A good pump will pretty much read constant.Changeing hy filter is a good idea.The hydralic pump is on the lower left side of the trans/rearend.betweenthe rearaxle and clutch pedal.Drain the trans oil before removeing pump.Yes you can use the tractor with a weak pump,wont hurt the tractor a bit.
