I have a baler with a 12 Volt motor to put the twine in position. The IH 844S tractor had (yet another) hydraulic malfunction and we had to use the Farmall M to bale. Not convenient with 6 Volt. The M has all Lucas electrics, so I got a 12 Volt Lucas Generator and Regulator which look identical to the 6 Volt equipment and just bolted them straight on… very easy. The other M has all Delco equipment, so the generator bracket is completely different. Is there a Delco-Remy 12 Volt generator and regulator (or cutout) which can be fitted to look identical to the 6 Volt equipment? I know an alternator is a good solution, but I like generators - easy and cheaper to repair.
