first of all it is common practice to shift gears at a complete idle. unlike the w6 which can be shifted on the go or at any speed , has to be one of the easiest shifting tractors. these tractors with the t.a. do not shift as easy. 460,560 or 660 they are the same. get a manual and adjust as required. can be anything from stiff linkage to the throw out brg being dry on shaft. pull the cover off the bottom of bell housing and have a look in there. there is also a grease nipple in there to grease.
