I am having a problem with the govenor on my 706 gas. when you open up the throtle it winds up then the rpm"s drop way down,it will then stableize,but then when you put a load on it the rpm"s drop way down and it"s real lazy on gov. response. I took the gov apart but every thing looked ok,however the buffer spring floats back and forth on the fork,is this normal? I adjusted the rod to the carb but did not try the the buffer screw adjustment beyond about one turn in,thanks,Al
