With the head back on & re-torqued, with the oil pan , manifold, spark plugs, and valve cover removed, then fill the radiator full of water, pressure test the cooling system.
Then place a clean piece of cardboard underneath, let it sit overnight pressurized.
The next morning check for any leaks, inside the cylinders, manifold ports, around the sleeves from underneath, and around the top of the head. Any leaks should present themselves pretty readily.
No leaks, then you are ready to put it back together.
