Ive got a 1466 we bought last winter and when we bought the tractor i noticed someone had changed the oil cooler on it and the tractor didnt have any blow by really at all.. We were told that the previous owner gave it an "overhaul" a few hundred hours before but wasnt quit sure if i believed the guy because he seemed pretty shaddy, we fixed all the oil leaks fixed new fenders steps lights,etc completly restored the tractor to collector quality, we got good numbers on the dyno , got it running tip top , pulled the tractor this summer and noticed at our last pull we started getting more and more blow by. got the tractor home and we parked it and never messed with it and until about a week later we started the tractor and it threw ALOT of oily/antifreeze mix out of the blow by tube, and lots of blow by, shut the tractor down and brought it into the shop. our plans were to get rid of the 436 anyway because we have a 466 all ready and built for the tractor and going up to a hot farm class. any way back to the 436, pulled the dipstick out and there was alot of antifreeze oil mix in the pan. looked up to see how much antifreeze was in the radiator and couldnt see anything, pulled the drain on the radiator and there was proably only a gallon of oil antifreeze gray looking mix and the rest of the antifreeze is in the pan. what im wondering if it is the oil cooler that caused this but i thought if the oil cooler goes bad oil goes into the radiator , or if ive got a hole in a sleeve from electrolisis or a leaking o-ring on a sleeve? Just wondering what caused this ? Thanks
