Dave H. You go right ahead and leave that exhauts alone if you want to. See my above comments about getting pucking sick from from under slung exhaust fumes. Now having said that it is possible to fix that exhaust to be verticle on the outside of the hood. Keep in mind a verticle also will not set your hay field on fire! I have also cut neat holes in the hood of a Farmall 400 just ahead of the gas tank and installed a baffle to prevent the gas tank from boiling when we had a mounted corn picker on that tractor! In my opinion all FARMER MODICATIONS AND UPGRADES if done NEATLY add interest and break the monotony of all the correct tractors and their incorrect fancy paint jobs but EVERYBODY is entitled to their opinions!
