I was actually thinking about just making it more "presentable" and keeping it that way too. I have a Loboy that belches fumes out under the seat and it does get to be a little much at times if the breeze is just right. Agree completely on the farmer mods. This tractor and the SMTA both have modifications and I am keeping both. On this one there is an old brass kill switch installed above the battery. Not sure why he had installed that and it would have been a headache with a genny but it doesn't seem to be a problem with the alternator as it is charging loud and clear. Old farmers were a resourceful lot and some of these modifications make good sense.
