Lazy nailed the answer to this one and why the Ford prices are so high. Fords are handy and a good tractor but I run into a lot of people that try to do things with them that they weren't designed to do. I have a 2N, a Super C, a Super H and a JD 70. (Can you see where this collection is going? 50% of the way there-still need the Super M and the Super A but I've chosen not to mention this to the "Family CEO" yet.") The 2N with a carryall is handier than a pocket on a shirt for a lot of things; my Super C is my main go-to tractor for hogging and most of the other work. It has a Fast Hitch/hydraulics and I bought a CT 3pt. conversion for it (simple, effective and cheap) so now it's equal to the Ford but because of size and weight can do a little more. I'm not knocking any make; I like them all. Grandad taught me to drive on his Ford 2N and I spent all of my formative years on my uncle's farm on his Farmall M. I also have a JD 70. But there is just something about those letter series Farmalls...

"Run in the house and get me a...."as I open th
