OK thanks. Just my luck. lol According to the internet source i found, the SN was supposed to be on the bell housing on the right side of the engine. I did find a flat spot there that has absolutely nothing on it, i used a wire brush in my air tool to clean that spot and nothing. I then found another website that showed a pic of that spot and it looks like there should have been a data plate glued to that flat spot, which in my case is gone. So back to the drawing board. I will pull the pan today and look for clues there. I pulled the head already and found nothing except there is a hairline CRACK in the block between piston 1 and 2 and I think that is how the water got in the oil pan.
